Field Trip Information
- We offer programs during the school year (October–December and March–May) for K–12th grades, as well as college students. Priority of scheduling is based on the date of registration.
- All BRMC programs involve experiential learning coordinated with Virginia’s SOLs and are led by professional naturalists.
- Students must be prepared for cold or rainy days and must wear closed-toe walking shoes (raincoat or winter coat, gloves and hat when appropriate).
- Please remind your students to behave according to school guidelines so that everyone will have a positive learning experience.
- Programs begin promptly at their scheduled time.
- Fees: $50 per hour per naturalist for weekdays, and $75 per hour per naturalist for weekends. Groups of more than 15 students require two naturalists. Maximum group size is 30 students.
- Birthday adventures are a minimum of 2 hours and scout programs vary depending on the badge or program.
