Join BRMC for a forest adventure guided by a professional naturalist. You may choose a birthday adventure program from the list below according to age and interest (other options available). The adventure program will last approximately one hour and the Mountain House facility may be used for an additional hour for your party. Birthday Adventure Programs

Sensory Trail Ramble
A naturalist will lead you through our wooded preserve as you discover the smell, sound, sight, taste, and touch of nature. (Ages 4-7)

Camouflage Trail Excursion
Join a naturalist along a hidden objects trail to discover unique ways to observe wildlife, while learning how these "animals" survive. Conclude by playing games of predator-prey and camouflage as participants either hide and are safe or are found and "eaten." (Ages 7-9).

Discovery Ramble
Join a naturalist along one of the woodland trails, turning over logs and looking closely at some of the many creatures that live throughout the preserve. Search a stream bed for a look at some fascinating aquatic creatures. (Ages 9-12).

Scheduling Your Party

Parties may be scheduled weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (limited weekends available). There is a limit of 15 kids per group. Please choose an adventure program from the list above or let us know of a specific interest. Tables and chairs will be set up in the Mountain House for you to use after the adventure program. Refrigerator, freezer, and limited kitchen facilities are available for your use, and decorations are permitted. Party cleanup is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Please bring trash bags for non-recyclables.
